Adding Freelancers to the Team

If your organisation works with freelancers, you can add them to your ProofHQ process as well.  There are a couple of ways to do this depending on whether you want the freelancer to be part of your organisation in ProofHQ or not.

Option A - add Freelancers to your ProofHQ account

You can simply add your freelancers to your account in ProofHQ. You can add them just like you would your other colleagues.  They can be part of all of the workflows described in this section.

However, they will have greater visibility into your account and may also see client details, which you may not want.

Option B - give Freelancers a free ProofHQ account

If you don’t want clients and freelancers to see each other in ProofHQ you can set up your freelancers with a free ProofHQ account.  This means that they can send files to you, which you can turn into Proofs.  It also means that if the situation does arise, you can add them as Authors to your proofs.

1. Direct your freelance colleague to the ProofHQ signup page.
2. Your freelance colleague signs up for a free trial
3. At the end of the trial the plan reverts to a free Personal plan
