Internal review before adding clients
If your organisation does internal reviews before sending proofs to clients there are a couple of neat ways to use ProofHQ.
Option A. Clients see internal comments
Option A is when you don’t mind clients seeing the internal comments.
To do this the designer simply adds the project manager (and any other colleagues) to the proof first. Colleagues do their checks and if everything is okay just use the Add People function to add clients.

Create New Proof - the designer creates a new proof in ProofHQ and makes internal people reviewers. The designer makes the project manager an "Author" (see Proof Roles).

Internal Review - the project manager and other colleagues review the proof.

Share Proof - the project manager shares the proof with the client.

New Proof Email - the client receives an email with a "one-click" link to the proof.

Review Proof - the client reviews the proof, adds comments and makes a decision.

Activity Summary Email - the project manager receives an email with a summary of the client's review.

Change Request - the project manager lets the designer know about the change requests. This can be done using the Print Comments function.

New Version (if required) - the designer amends the file and uploads it to ProofHQ as a New Version.
The process is repeated until the proof is approved
Option B. Client only sees own version
Option B is for when designers do not need to be involved in the review process. Everything is managed by the project manager who creates the proof and adds the reviewers.
With this option the designer uses the Upload Media function in ProofHQ.
